HOLLYWOOD, Fla., Feb. 3 (UPI) -- The Hollywood, Fla., apartment shared by two Sept. 11 terrorists will be razed to become a parking lot and swimming pool, the building's owner said.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

The second-floor rental was home for Mohamed Atta and Marwan Al-Shehhi, pilots of the two planes that smashed into the World Trade Center towers in New York, from May to June 2001, the Los Angeles Times reported Wednesday.

"I feel like no one will be upset about that, considering who used to be a tenant there", Bryan Grosman, who recently bought the 13-unit apartment building, told the Times. "It is one of life's little treats to be able to demolish a property like that, where a monster used to reside."

Grosman said he bought the building in December so he install a pool and parking facility for a housing complex he owns next door. He notified tenants that the building would be demolished this month.
