PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- The Philadelphia-area woman who allegedly used the name "Jihad Jane" in extremist Internet postings will plead guilty next week, her lawyer said Friday.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

Mark Wilson told CNN Colleen LaRose, 46, will change her plea to federal charges. A hearing is scheduled Tuesday, WCAU-TV, Philadelphia, reported.

LaRose, who also allegedly used the name "Fatima LaRose", is accused of planning to kill Lars Vilks, a Swedish artist who infuriated Muslims with a caricature showing Mohammed's head on a dog's body. Investigators say she agreed to marry a South Asian man who suggested the plan to her.

"I will make this my goal till I achieve it or die trying", she e-mailed him in 2009.

LaRose, who spent most of her life in Texas, moved to Pennsburg, Pa., in 2004 to be with her then-boyfriend, Kurt Gorman.

She allegedly stole his passport before traveling to Europe.

She was arrested in October 2009 after her flight from London landed at Philadelphia International Airport.
