BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Actor Hugh Jackman, who served as host of the Academy Awards show in 2009, is to be a presenter at this year's edition of the event in Los Angeles.

His participation in the Feb. 27 prize presentation honoring the best in film in 2010 was announced Thursday by telecast producers Bruce Cohen and Don Mischer.

Jackman's big-screen credits include "The Prestige", "The Fountain", the "X-Men" trilogy, "Van Helsing", "Kate & Leopold", "Swordfish" and "Someone Like You."

James Franco and Anne Hathaway are to serve as co-hosts of next month's Oscars show.
