The event celebrating the best in animation in 2010 is to take place Feb. 5 at UCLA's Royce Hall.

"ASIFA-Hollywood is thrilled to have Tom Kenny serve as the host of this year's Annie Awards", ASIFA-Hollywood President Antran Manoogian said in a statement Wednesday.

Kenny lends his voice to the iconic animated character SpongeBob SquarePants.

"Tom's comedic humor and antics should make for a fun and entertaining award ceremony", Manoogian said.

Also expected to take part in the ceremony are June Foray, James Hong, Danica McKellar, Kevin Michael Richardson, Mike Henry, Nika Futterman, Brian Regan, Corey Burton, Jim Cummings and John DeMaggio.

This year's recipients of the Winsor McCay Award -- presented for lifetime achievement -- are Brad Bird, Eric Goldberg and Matt Groening.
