| WELLINGTON, New Zealand, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Filmmaker Peter Jackson has undergone surgery for a perforated ulcer at a New Zealand hospital, his representatives said. SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS The Hollywood Reporter said the "Lord of the Rings" and "King Kong" director was resting comfortably at Wellington Hospital and expected to make a full recovery following Wednesday's operation. "Sir Peter's surgery is not expected to impact on his directing commitment to 'The Hobbit' beyond a slight delay to the start of filming", said a statement issued by his publicist to The Hollywood Reporter.
