WASHINGTON, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Anna Deavere Smith's one-woman production, "Let Me Down Easy", is to be videotaped at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater and set to air on PBS.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

The show at the Washington venue is to be recorded in February and will be broadcast on PBS stations during the 2011-12 season of "Great Performances", the PBS station WNET, New York, said Friday.

Prior to the broadcast, Arena Stage will begin a U.S. tour of the play which was originally presented at the Long Wharf Theatre and The American Repertory Theater.

The current production originated at New York's Second Stage Theatre where it enjoyed a successful run, WNET said.
