LONDON, July 2 (UPI) -- Welsh crooner Tom Jones has returned to Britain after living for more than three decades across the Pond in Los Angeles.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

The 69-year-old singer known for swiveling his hips and booming voice said his wife was homesick, The Daily Telegraph reported Thursday.

"I've had a great time living in LA but after all these years we think now is the time to move home", Jones said. "My wife Linda's been getting homesick lately and we have been talking it over for a while."

Jones, who will tour the United Kingdom this fall, said he hoped to be living in Britain full time by the end of the year.

"We'd like somewhere in the country but I think we'll get a place in London first to ease back into it", Jones said. "Britain has always been home ... ."
