| LOS ANGELES, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- ABC has announced it is canceling its U.S. dramedy series "Ugly Betty" after its current fourth season. SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS "We've mutually come to the difficult decision to make this 'Ugly Betty's' final season, and are announcing now as we want to allow the show ample time to write a satisfying conclusion", the network and show's producers said in a statement issued to The Hollywood Reporter Wednesday. "We are extremely proud of this groundbreaking series, and felt it was important to give the fans a proper farewell."
