NEW YORK, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- An MTV executive says the entire cast of "Jersey Shore" has agreed to take part in a second season of the U.S. reality TV series.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

MTV programming President Tony DiSanto confirmed 12 new episodes of the popular reality series will begin airing on the cable network in mid- to late summer, The Hollywood Reporter said Saturday.

"Our audience has fallen in love with 'Jersey Shore' and its amazing cast who have really grown together as a family. That bond gives the show its heart, and we're thrilled to reunite these friends to bring fans more of what they love -- laughs, love, drama and of course, GTL", said DiSanto, mentioning the "Shore" reference to gym, tanning and laundry.

The Reporter said to avoid shooting the second season during the winter in New Jersey, "Shore" will be relocated to a new as-of-yet unannounced location.
