NEW YORK, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Champion figure skater Michelle Kwan is joining "Good Morning America" as a special correspondent covering the Vancouver Winter Olympics, ABC said Monday.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

"Kwan, who participated in two Winter Olympics and won two medals there, will provide commentary and analysis on figure skating, as well as coverage of other news stories at the games", the network said in a news release.

Kwan's first report for "GMA" is to air Friday.
