NEW YORK, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- U.S. comedian Sinbad is to star in his first televised stand-up special in 13 years, Comedy Central said Monday.

The one-hour concert "Sinbad: Where U Been?" is to premiere Feb. 21, the network said.

A special edition DVD version of the show is set for release Feb. 23 by Comedy Central Home Entertainment. It will feature more than 45 minutes of never-before-aired material.

"Sinbad discusses America's new black president, the lighter side of the economic recession, the pitfalls of love and marriage and, of course, gives everyone the low-down of where he's been", Comedy Central said in a news release.

The comedian's television appearances include "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", "A Different World", "Moesha", "Roc" and "Slacker Cats." His film credits include "Necessary Roughness", "Coneheads", "Houseguest", "First Kid" and "Jingle All the Way."
