LOS ANGELES, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Genre label Rogue is
developing a feature remake of the gory cult favorite "Faces of
Death", it was reported in Hollywood.SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS
"Faces of Death" originally came out in 1978, featuring
various gruesome ways people and animals can die. Many believe some
of the explicit footage to be real, Daily Variety said.
"Faces" caught on among young people throughout the 1970s
and '80s.
Variety said it is unclear whether Michael Carr will return
as "Doctor" Frances Gross, who narrated the deaths.
Producers reportedly want to capitalize on the popularity of
horror movie franchises such as "The Grudge" and "The Texas Chainsaw
Massacre." However, a desensitizing of the audience, who can see
death daily on the Internet, is a concern.
Rogue declined to comment.
