Williams shot and raped Haynes and left her bleeding in the bathroom in their King of Prussia apartment in 2005 a few months after she filed for divorce. She got her divorce quickly, but her husband, acting as his own lawyer, has filed numerous motions from his prison cell challenging the division of property.

In one recent filing, he made 98 demands, including alimony and their two cats, Haynes said.

She said there have been nine hearings in 18 months, which she attends in person while her husband is present by video link from Smithfield Prison, where he is serving 17 1/2 to 35 years. Two months ago, a court denied a motion for a paternity test for the couple's son, now 28 years old.
