PHILADELPHIA, April 2 (UPI) -- Police in Philadelphia have arrested a man accused of stalking actor Jamie Foxx and trying to break into his hotel room several times, sources told CBS 3 TV.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

The Oscar-winning actor was staying at the AKA Hotel while in Philadelphia to film "Law Abiding Citizen." Citing sources, CBS 3 reported Thursday that the 49-year-old suspect tried to break into Foxx's room three times -- and that on one occasion, Foxx, 41, struggled with the man and pushed him out of the room.

The alleged incidents occurred March 22, March 27 and March 31, the report said. Some time after the third alleged incident, security guards for Foxx saw the man near a movie set and the man was subsequently taken into police custody, CBS 3 said.

The TV station's sources said the suspect has 24 prior arrests.

"Law Abiding Citizen" stars Foxx in the story of a man who pursues a district attorney after the killer of the man's family is set free as part of a plea bargain.
