CHICAGO, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Several teenagers have been charged with stealing more than $5,000 in merchandise in quick raids on three stores on Chicago's Magnificent Mile.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

The teens, six girls and five boys ages 14 to 17, have been charged as juveniles, the Chicago Tribune reported. Employees at the stores said the group simply ran in, took items off the shelves and left.

They allegedly stole $2,247 in merchandise from AX Armani Exchange, $2,719.99 at North Face and $279.99 from Filene's Basement.

All three stores are on Michigan Avenue in Chicago's most elegant shopping district.
