The three aging men who have been dubbed the "Grandpa Gang" were convicted on Friday, June 10, 2005, of robbing 14 German banks and getting away with more than 1 million (US$1.3 million) over the course of 16 years. The state court in Hagen on Friday sentenced them to between nine and 12 years in prison.
