CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Charlotte, N.C., police say they are awaiting the results of toxicology test in the death of Cincinnati Bengal Chris Henry.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

Charlotte police Detective Norma McKee, the lead investigator in the case, also indicated she wants to re-interview Henry's fiance, Loleini Tonga, before releasing any details of the probe, The Cincinnati Enquirer reported Tuesday.

"I think it is safe to say that it will be after the first of the year (before the case is closed)", McKee told the newspaper. "Once all of our reports are together and a decision is made, we will talk with the family and then release findings."

The Mecklenburg County, N.C., Medical Examiner's Office said Henry sustained severe head trauma when he fell out of the back of a pickup truck driven by Tonga, and was pronounced dead 18 hours after the Dec. 16 incident. The accident reportedly came while he and Tonga were involved in a domestic dispute.
