The Diamondbacks, who committed three errors and had only four hits, have lost eight of their last nine.

De La Rosa (5-7) won his third straight start. He allowed all four Arizona hits, struck out six and walked four.

Joel Peralta and Huston Street finished off the shutout by combining for a perfect ninth.

Ian Stewart put the Rockies in front with a solo homer in the second.

Max Scherzer (5-6) took the loss. He allowed five runs, three of them earned, on six hits in six innings.

The game was delayed 22 minutes at the start by rain.
