BOSTON, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- A rescue team from a Boston aquarium freed a yearling harp seal that has been stranded on a seaside cliff for days.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

The New England Aquarium's Marine Animal Rescue Team said the 50-pound seal, which was first spotted Sunday in the crevices of a seaside cliff 20 feet above the water on Boston's North Shore, the Boston Herald reported Friday.

The rescuers said the seal, which they theorized may have been stranded by high tides during the weekend, was rescued and found to be healthy save for minor abrasions. The mammal was tagged and released back into the ocean, the rescue team said.
