| WASHINGTON, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- More than $119 million awarded to U.S. states and territories will support public efforts to promote healthier lifestyles, federal officials said. SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS The awards announced Friday were funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said in a release. The money is to support efforts by communities and schools to reduce obesity, increase physical activity, improve nutrition, and decrease smoking. "Our goal through these statewide projects is to help make healthy choices the easier choices for all Americans, no matter where they live", Sebelius said.
