LANCELIN, Australia, Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Police in an Australian city said about 12,000 people came to town for a windsurfing event, but the only arrests made were two men caught streaking.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

Lancelin police said the 30-year-old man and the 27-year-old man, who were among the 12,000 visiting town for the Lancelin Ocean Windsurfing Classic, were arrested at about 1 a.m. Sunday when they left the Endeavour Tavern and ran nude through the parking lot, The (Perth) Advocate reported Friday.

"It was just two drunken idiots having a laugh and police caught them literally with their pants down", Sgt. Lloyd Ellis said. "It was just tongue-in-cheek but we had to charge them with disorderly conduct because there were around 700 people leaving the tavern that night."

The men, whose names were not released, are due in court in February.
