NEW YORK, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- The United Nations said U.S. actor Will Smith and his actress wife Jada Pinkett-Smith are helping raise money for the U.N. World Food Program.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

The United Nations said in a release Friday the celebrity couple is staging an online auction for a signed piece of art featuring silhouettes drawn by several celebrities.

The artwork depicts a map of world hunger accented with silhouettes drawn by Smith, members of his family and other musical performers who took part in a Nobel Peace Prize concert in Oslo, Norway, in December. Smith and his wife co-hosted the Dec. 2 event.

Others who took part in the art project are rapper Wyclef Jean, singers Toby Keith and Natasha Bedingfield and members of the pop music group Westlife.

As of Saturday afternoon, the top bid on the eBay auction was $202.50 with two bids. The auction is scheduled to end next Friday.

The United Nations said the artwork went up for auction on eBay Friday thanks to the U.N. World Food Program and the Will & Jada Smith Family Foundation. Proceeds from the online auction will go toward providing meals for Haitian children.
