CHICAGO, July 3 (UPI) -- Mickey Hart said he and two other surviving members of the Grateful Dead may reunite for a concert to support U.S. presidential hopeful Barack Obama.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

Hart, Bob Weir and Phil Lesh previously reunited for a February fundraiser for the Democratic Illinois senator in San Francisco.

The Chicago Sun-Times quoted Hart as saying the trio has exchanged "a few friendly e-mails" about possibly playing together again along the campaign trail, however, nothing firm has been set.

"We're not making plans, but I think we stand at the ready to be of service", Hart said. "We're all deeply into this, into Barack Obama and the thought of taking this country back in some shape or form, what's left of it -- it's probably one thing we can all agree on! So, you bet, I would spend a night with my brothers for that any time, any place."
