LONDON, June 30 (UPI) -- A 16-year-old boy stabbed to death in London during the weekend was the brother of former "EastEnders" actress Brooke Kinsella, friends of the youth said.

The Times of London said Ben Kinsella called a friend for help early Sunday morning as he was being chased through the streets by his attackers after he was caught up in a fight that broke out at a party in a bar near his home.

A Scotland Yard spokesman told The Times: "We believe the victim may have been involved in an argument with a group of black males in the street. The victim was then stabbed and the suspects ran away."

Two 16-year-olds were arrested shortly after the stabbing and were in police custody Sunday night.

Actress Brooke Kinsella, 24, brought flowers to the scene of the attack Sunday, the newspaper said.

Ben Kinsella was the 17th teenager slain in London this year. Rob Knox, an 18-year-old actor who had a part in the new "Harry Potter" film, was buried last week after he was also stabbed to death.
