NASHVILLE, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- U.S. country music star Keith Urban says he has no problem being "Mr. Mom" for his 2-month-old daughter when his wife, actress Nicole Kidman, is away.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

Urban said when his 40-year-old wife travels for movie shoots, he typically takes on the major parental role and enjoys doing so, People magazine reported Friday.

"When my wife's working and I've got time off, I'm just Mr. Mom during the day, taking care of the little girl", the 40-year-old Nashville resident said.

While the couple's daughter, Sunday Rose, is currently in London where her mother is shooting a movie, their child typically remains at home with him. But the singer said the entire family may be together on his future music tours.

"That's what we'll do next year. Just balancing touring with being home, it's good to have them out on the road ... so we're not apart very much", he told People.
