CULVER CITY, Calif., Aug. 28 (UPI) -- A Culver City, Calif., blogger reportedly was arrested for violating federal copyright laws by allegedly posting unreleased Guns N' Roses songs on the Internet.

The Los Angeles Times reported authorities arrested 27-year-old Kevin Cogill this week at his home.

An arrest affidavit said that when interviewed by an FBI agent, Cogill admitted he had allowed public access to nine of the rock band's unreleased songs on the Antiquiet Web site in June.

The Times said the band had intended to eventually release the songs commercially.

The newspaper didn't mention how Cogill gained access to the recordings.
