LOS ANGELES, May 19 (UPI) -- U.S. pop star Madonna sold out upcoming shows in Paris, New York, Boston and Chicago not long after tickets went on sale, Live Nation said Monday.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

The company said tickets for the singer's Sticky & Sweet Tour are off to a strong start with weekend sell-outs reported in Paris, Boston and Chicago, followed by sell-outs in New York Monday morning where two performances at Madison Square Garden quickly filled up as did a third show that was added and now confirmed for Oct. 11.

The tour to support the singer's new album, "Hard Candy", is to begin Aug. 23 in Cardiff, Wales.
