NEW YORK, May 19 (UPI) -- Hollywood actress Katie Holmes is set to make her Broadway debut in Arthur Miller's "All My Sons", one of the show's producers announced Monday.

Producer Eric Falkenstein has confirmed the cast of the revival will include Holmes, as well as stage and film veterans John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson. The new Broadway production of the play is to open this fall.

A venue and show dates will be announced shortly, said representatives for "Sons", a play about a "successful businessman who knowingly sold the government defective airplane parts during World War II with tragic consequences."

Holmes, who is married to film star Tom Cruise, made her acting debut in Ang Lee's big-screen drama "The Ice Storm." She went on to star in the popular television series "Dawson's Creek" and her other movie credits include "Wonder Boys", "Thank You for Smoking" and "Batman Begins."
