LOS ANGELES, Aug. 8 (UPI) -- A comedic video starring U.S. actress and heiress Paris Hilton has been viewed 6.2 million times in two days on Funnyordie.com, the Web site said.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

The video features Hilton in a mock political campaign ad.

"We are excited that this piece has become a hot topic for both the media and the public and we find it insane that Paris has the country discussing energy policy", Adam McKay, co-founder of Funny or Die and creator of the Hilton spoof, said in a statement Thursday.

McKay is the director of the current Will Ferrell-John C. Reilly box-office comedy hit "Step Brothers" and two other Ferrell comedies, "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" and "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy."
