Antran Manoogian, president of the International Animated Film Society, said Judge will be joined by famed animators John Lasseter and Nick Park in receiving the award this year, a release from the society said Saturday.

"Their career achievements and outstanding contributions to the art of animation are certainly worthy of being recognized with this honor", Manoogian said during Friday's awards announcement at Comic-Con.

While Judge has earned a strong reputation for his work on animated series such as "King" and "Beavis and Butthead", Lasseter and Park have found success in different animation venues.

Lasseter has served as chief creative officer at Pixar and Walt Disney Animation, creating computer animation for top films. Park meanwhile, parlayed his artistic skills into success with clay animation projects such as the films "Chicken Run" and "Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit."
