PRAIRIE DU SAC, Wis., Oct. 4 (UPI) -- Culver's Franchising System Inc., a restaurant concept known as the Home of the Butter Burger, says it's building a new headquarters in Wisconsin.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

The company is moving its home offices from downtown Prairie du Sac, a suburb of Madison, Wis., to a spot on the banks of the Wisconsin River, where it's planning to construct a 46,000 square foot building, The Wisconsin State Journal reported Saturday.

"Just moving upstream two miles allows us to continue our hometown roots while at the same time building a modern facility", Chris Contino, Culver's vice president of marketing, told the newspaper.

Even though it's been hard times for most in the restaurant business, Culver's boasts 386 franchises, saying it expects to franchise 20 more restaurants this year and up to 25 in 2009, the State Journal said.
