| NEW YORK, June 24 (UPI) -- The woman Remy Ma was convicted of shooting in the stomach is suing the rapper for $10 million in New York's Bronx Supreme Court. SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS Remy Ma, whose real name is Reminisce Smith, was sentenced last month to eight years in prison for felony assault in the shooting of Makeda Barnes-Joseph last summer in a dispute over money. The New York Daily News said Barnes-Joseph, 24, is now suing Smith, claiming the hip-hop artist ruined her life when she shot her.
