NEW YORK, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- A Pakistani woman accused of trying to kill U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan had notes in her possession concerning a mass attack, an indictment charges.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

The indictment, unsealed in federal court in New York, says Aafia Siddiqui, 36, had a list that included New York landmarks in addition to details on various methods of attack, Long Island's Newsday reports.

Siddiqui, who holds degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Brandeis University, has been held in New York without bail on charges she tried to shoot U.S. soldiers and employees of the FBI in Afghanistan.

The indictment says a computer flash drive found on her when she was arrested also referred to specific terrorist cells and attacks by certain cells.

"Other documents referred to 'enemies,' including the United States and discussed recruitment and training", the indictment said.

Siddiqui's attorney, Gideon Oliver, told Newsday he couldn't comment on the charges because he hasn't seen the documents cited in the indictment.
