PHOENIX, Sept. 4 (UPI) -- Phoenix police say a luxury car belonging to a prominent real-estate broker found dead this week turned up in Southern California Thursday.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

Four people who were in the Lexus were taken into custody by San Bernardino, Calif., police pending questioning in the investigation into the death of Irving Shuman, who was found dead in his office Tuesday night.

The Arizona Republic described the 84-year-old Schuman as a fixture in the Phoenix real estate industry and a prominent member of the city's Jewish community.

Shuman was the owner of Standard Realty & Development Co. Arizona and made his fortune building Circle K convenience stores in the early 1970s.

"It just leaves one feeling empty", said Sen. John Kyl, R-Ariz.

The exact cause of Shuman's death has not been revealed and the Republic said the four people being detained in California had not been charged with any crime.
