LOS ANGELES, July 15 (UPI) -- Prosecutors in the murder retrial of Phil Spector plan to add to their witness list a woman who says the music producer threatened her with a gun, records show.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

Citing court papers, the Los Angeles Times reported Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Alan Jackson notified the court that investigators have located Norma Kemper -- who would be the sixth woman to claim Spector threatened her with a gun. The prosecutor said Kemper was contacted after Spector's trial ended with a hung jury in September.

Jackson identified Kemper as a former personal assistant of Spector's, and said she would testify that the producer of "Unchained Melody" and "Let It Be" brandished a gun during a 1996 dinner at a popular LA nightspot.

Christopher Plourd, an attorney for Spector, told the newspaper he had not seen the papers and could not comment.

Spector is set to go to trial again Sept. 29 on charges of killing actress Lana Clarkson at his Alhambra, Calif., mansion in February 2003. His first trial ended when the jury deadlocked and a mistrial was declared.
