HOUSTON, Aug. 4 (UPI) -- The U.S. space agency said the Johnson Space Center in Houston will be closed through Tuesday because of the threat posed by Tropical Storm Edouard.

Edouard is forecast to move from the Gulf of Mexico, crossing the Texas coastline early Tuesday.

Although most of the space center will be closed, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration said flight control of the International Space Station will continue from Johnson and the Space Station Mission Control Center will remain open.
