SAN FRANCISCO, July 19 (UPI) -- CC Sabathia was dominant in his third start for Milwaukee Friday and the Brewers hit a pair of three-run homers in downing San Francisco 9-1.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

Sabathia (9-8), obtained by the Brewers in a deal with Cleveland this month, went the distance while giving up a run on four hits. It was his second straight complete game.

Milwaukee was nursing a 2-0 lead before blowing things open in the seventh. J.J. Hardy doubled home his second run of the game to make it 3-0 and Prince Fielder hit a three-run homer later in the inning.

Mike Cameron added a three-run blast in the ninth.

Matt Cain (5-8) was charged with the loss. He gave up seven hits and walked five in six innings.
