CARSON, Calif., May 11 (UPI) -- Taylor Twellman's goal in the 59th minute gave New England a two-goal lead and the Revolution held on Sunday for a 2-1 Major League Soccer win over Chivas USA.

Twellman, who had missed seven matches after undergoing knee surgery, scored less than 15 minutes after coming off the bench to start the second half.

Kenny Mansally got the first goal for New England (4-3-1) in the 18th minute.

Justin Braun scored for Chivas in extra time.
