| Real Salt Lake goalkeeper Nick Rimando, who allowed one goal in four July games, was selected Major League Soccer's player of the month. NEW YORK, July 31 (UPI) -- Rimando posted shutouts in Real Sale Lake's first three games in July and finished with a 2-1 win over Toronto FC. He kept Houston, Columbus and Chicago scoreless while Real Salt Lake was going 2-0-2 during the month. SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS That streak boosted Real Salt Lake, which has lost once in its last 10 games, to first-place in the MLS Western Conference for the first time.
