NEW YORK, July 1 (UPI) -- Michael Young drove in the winning run in the top of the ninth inning Tuesday to give the Texas Rangers a 3-2 victory over the New York Yankees.

Chris Davis and Jarrod Saltalamacchia had the other RBI for the Rangers, who have won four of their last five games.

Kevin Millwood gave up just one run on five hits in five innings, but did not factor in the decision. Frank Francisco (2-2) earned the win with a perfect eighth and C.J. Wilson got his 19th save of the season with a scoreless ninth.

Robinson Cano was 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Yankees. Wilson Betemit tied the game in the sixth with an RBI single.

Joba Chamberlain was pulled in the fourth inning after giving up two runs on five hits and four walks. Mariano Rivera (2-3) was charged with the loss after giving up the ninth-inning run.
