| RALEIGH, N.C., June 17 (UPI) -- North Carolina officials have fired three employees at state universities who allegedly used school computer equipment to download music and pornography. SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS State Auditor Leslie Merritt said the employees, two who worked at North Carolina Central University and one at North Carolina State University, were terminated from their positions after it was determined they also illegally downloaded copyrighted movies, games and software, the Raleigh (N.C.) News & Observer reported Tuesday. The alleged downloading was reported to Merritt by N.C. Central Chancellor Charlie Nelms, the state auditor said in a release. "Chancellor Nelms has shown a no-nonsense approach to dealing with the misuse of taxpayer funds at N.C. Central", it said.
