| PESHAWAR, Pakistan, Aug. 13 (UPI) -- The roadside bombing of a Pakistani military vehicle by suspected Islamic militants has left at least 14 people dead, authorities said Wedbesday. SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS Tuesday's explosion near the city of Peshewar came after Islamic militants threatened to respond to a recent government military action in the Bajaur tribal agency, the Los Angeles Times said Wednesday. The bombing also took place as a rift grew among Pakistani political leaders. The Times said the country's ruling coalition has steadily been attempting to pressure Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf to leave his post. CNN said Tuesday's attack took place in Pakistan's North-West Frontier Province, which has been the center of an escalating clash between the Pakistani military and Taliban militants.
