| PARIS, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- French energy companies are bidding for a contract to build a pair of nuclear reactors in the United Arab Emirates, it was reported Tuesday. SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS Besides the United Arab Emirates bid, the French government already has secured nuclear partnership agreements with Algeria and Libya, and is working to close deals with Morocco and Qatar, The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday. Nuclear reactors in the oil-rich United Arab Emirates would allow the country to burn less of its oil reserves for domestic use, earmarking more crude oil for export, the Journal said. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Related News Topics:
