SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

At an emergency summit in Brussels, the EU pledged Monday to help Georgia recover from Russia's intervention but distanced itself from further action for fear of splitting the EU or further angering Russia, which supplies much of Europe's natural gas and oil, The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday.

The EU did little to penalize Russia Monday beyond canceling meetings on a new trade and investment agreement with the Kremlin.

"The question is, what does Russia want?" said French President Nicolas Sarkozy, adding that the Kremlin must decide whether to isolate itself politically by keeping a strong military presence in Georgia or else withdraw and begin talks on its status with the EU.
