| ADEN, Yemen, May 28 (UPI) -- A Dubai-based company run by Osama bin Laden's half-brother has plans for a bridge to span the Red Sea between Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, the firm said. SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS Tarek bin Laden, one of the terrorist mastermind's 53 half-siblings, has proposed bridging the 18-mile-wide Red Sea strait known as the Bab al-Mandeb, or Gate of Tears, The Washington Post reported Wednesday. The bridge, which is estimated to cost between $10 billion and $20 billion, would connect Yemen with the East African country of Djibouti. Both countries have given Tarek bin Laden's firm, Middle East Development LLC, their approval for the project. "This has been Sheik Tarek's idea for many, many years", said Jameel Murshed, a lawyer and legal consultant for the firm.
