| SHARM EL-SHEIKH, Egypt, June 28 (UPI) -- Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak met Saturday with U.S. Rep. Gary Ackerman, head of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on the Middle East and South Asia. SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS The two discussed the global war on terror and their support for the Middle East peace process, KUNA reported. The New York congressman told reporters after the meeting he had voiced his country's great appreciation for the Egyptian leader and his effective role in the regional peace process. When asked whether the U.S. military has taken part in recent Israeli war games, Ackerman denied U.S. involvement.
