BAGHDAD, Aug. 6 (UPI) -- Iraqi security forces have arrested three women on charges of plotting suicide bombings against the military.

SAVE MONEY ON TRAVEL DEALS

A spokesman for the Iraqi Interior Ministry says two of the women tested positive for explosives residue and the third woman had explosives in her home, CNN reported Wednesday.

Spokesman Gen. Abdul Karim Khalaf says the arrests were part of a military offensive that began recently in Diyala Province.

Diyala is north and east of Baghdad.
