Residents said about 20 Israeli military vehicles entered Nalain, followed by bulldozers that blocked entrances to the city. The community has seen a rise in confrontations as residents have been protesting the building of a security barricade, KUNA said.

A Palestinian youth was killed Wednesday and one other was declared clinically dead after being shot reportedly by Israeli soldiers, the news agency reported.

The Israeli Border Police was investigating the allegations that its officers were involved, The Jerusalem Post reported.

"The (Israeli military) and security forces are looking into this issue now", a Border Police spokesman told KUNA.
